The commission has conducted Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) on 15 & 16 October 2022 at various examination centres all over the state. Candidates who have cleared the prelim exam are eligible to appear for the Main exam. The PET Exam is conducted every year by UPSSSC to shortlist the candidates for upcoming Group C and D Vacancies in various state departments. This year approximately 25 Lakh candidates have appeared for PET exam. The provisional answer key was released on December 13, 2022, whereas revised answer key was released on January 10, 2023, after considering all raised objections.
